Denon looks to introduce a new professional single deck media player called the Denon SC5000 Prime. It looks to be integrated with a WiFi Antenna. It should be announced during the 2017 NAMM Show which starts January 19 – 22 in Anaheim, California.

Denon is now owned by inMusic Brands, Inc. The same owner of Rane, Numark, AKAI Professional, Alesis, Alto, M-Audio, Marantz etc.

Unfortunately, it is a static player. A true successor for the SC3900 is delayed because the motor had to be redesigned and custom made by a new vendor. This is why it has taken so long to develop the new Denon VL12 Turntable. We would love a 9″ Direct Drive Platter version of this.

More info to come. Below is the bottom outline of the media player.
